Totally recommend for one night
Cozy room, friendly service, the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay, even allowing us to pay the next day when we decided to extend our visit. The free Wi-Fi in public areas made it easy to plan our next adventures.
Nothing negative to say.

The room had a fridge, but the mattress needed replacing.

great space but a bit isolated
The room offered plenty of space with a big bed and a large bathroom, which was refreshing compared to typical cramped hotel rooms. I appreciated the corner with a refrigerator and tea facilities, making my stay more comfortable.
The location can feel quite remote, which may not suit everyone.

missingWrote a review on 22 Auggood size beddecent facilitiesclean roomweak water pressureunclean fridgeno dining options
The room had a good size with a comfy king-size bed. Great coffee-making facilities made mornings smoother. The fridge was a nice bonus, though the inside looked a bit unclean. The overall cleanliness of the room was fine. Some small issues popped up. The bathroom water pressure was weak, making tasks like washing hair a struggle. No shelves in the shower cubicle were frustrating, and the sloped sink didn’t help either. One toilet felt oddly tall, which wasn't comfortable. For breakfast, there were just basic options like cereals and toast, without any proper British breakfast. no dining options nearby meant we had to drive for food. It was a decent stay mainly for sleeping needs, but a little refreshing could improve the experience significantly.

Ideal for a quick stopover
The owner was incredibly helpful – he took us out to dinner because there’s no restaurant on-site and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was quite a spread too, fresh fruit, croissants, and even a nice selection of cereals to kickstart the day – can't complain about that!

The ground floor room was convenient for rainy days, allowing easy access from the car. The microwave and fridge were thoughtful additions, and the continental breakfast offered a delightful variety. the water pressure in the shower was weak, and the dated bathroom facilities left much to be desired, including a rusty mirror and uncomfortable toilet height.

It was just a fitting option for a getaway in Contin with a reasonable price. Good coffee making facilities in the room were a nice touch. Bring your own plates and cutlery if you plan to use the microwave.

Friendly staff and owner made the stay enjoyable, providing excellent help with local information. The rooms were clean and spacious, with convenient parking right outside. Unfortunately, the check-in process was disappointing, as late arrivals were not accommodated despite the presence of other guests checking in later.

enjoyable walks near scenic loch and charming town
During my stay, I loved that it was just over 2 km from the beautiful Loch Achilty, perfect for a leisurely stroll, and only about 4 km from the friendly atmosphere of Strathpeffer, where I explored its unique heritage and relaxed in the park. the room I stayed in was good size with decent coffee making facilities and a fridge, which made my stay even more enjoyable for a weekend traveler like me.
