Friendly ,helpful owners. Nothing wrong with the b&b but.....
They did not serve dinner in the evenings. Can it be classed a hotel?Had to drive into Dingwall for meal. Farewell bottle of wine for me as driver!!!

Good location and value for the price. Breakfast was of high quality and served quickly.
This is now a bed and breakfast. Not a hotel nor an inn. Dining and bar are no longer available.

Warm welcome from our hosts. A dry sense of humour was never far from the surface. Good breakfast. My son was particularly impressed with his kipper - both from a size and taste perspective.
Wasn't clear that it was only B&B on offer - no bar and no evening meal. Not a big issue if you have your own transport but could be problematical if you don't.

Great Hosts, made us feel very welcome. The rooms were very comfortable, bathrooms could do with a bit of an update, but well supplied with all cosmetics needed. Fantastic breakfast, homemade preserves, smoked salmon, excellent.
The hotel could do with some updating but we would certainly stay here again.

Extremely nice hosts!! Provided us with a wealth of information about the area as well as our upcoming journey. Superb breakfast! Even though they no longer have a dinner restaurant, they directed us to a ver nice dinner locale,
Although an adequate place as a stay along the way, not a destination.

Staff very friendly & breakfast excellent.
Advertises as hotel but only offers bed & breakfast. As out of town location this can be misleading. Hotels generally have a bar & or restaurant/dining facilities.

We found this hotel late as my Son was doing The Celtman Extreme IRonman. Owner Chris gave my son his garage to put his bike together. Also fixed sandwiches as we left on the race day so early we missed the delicious breakfast. Very friendly, and a great stop on the road. We also got great advise on dinner reservations So got we went twice. Good Scottish hospitality.

Friendly staff and reasonably comfortable room. Very good breakfasts.
We were in the room at the top of the stairs and they were quite steep for an older couple. The television worked only intermittently even after being attended to by the owner.

The couple who run the hotel are really friendly and went out of their way to make our stay with them memorable. They organised an earlier breakfast (which was delicious) and ensured we had everything we needed. Chef was also very funny which has left us with the feeling of wanting to return in the future. Quiet accommodation situated on its own surrounded by trees - excellent!
There wasnt anything which we could find fault with.
